Hello Lovelies, So Sorry for my absence. My Laptop has been very poorly!...and has been in a repair shop for nearly 5 days!...luckily all my photographs have been saved and stored back onto it, so no real biggy problems- but when you haven't got the internet it is quite a strange feeling not being able to just log on whenever i felt the need. I'm glad its back and restored...Also to get back into blogger land and read all your lovely blogs!- I have some catching up to do...
I've been having a good old Thrift lately and found some lovely treasures.
Like Mr Foxy...
also this Lustre ware design cup with painted feet...My Mother has the egg cups in the same style.
Some hand made friends for my wooden dolly I made a few weeks back.
Now living on top of Sweet pea's dolls house.
I've been spending a lot of time in the evenings drawing...
I'm looking forward to a nice hot, milky cup of coffee and a look through all my favourite blogs.
cheerio for now,
x Kazzy x

Its nice to see that you're back. I must admit that your blog has become a bit of a fix for me - so Ive missed it. Love the little wooden dollies and Mr Fox is a dashing chap isn't he? And the cup doesn't half take me back - I remember my mum having the egg cups too - don't think they survived the intervening years though, shame. Xx

ReplyDeleteGlad to have you back! I know the feeling when you aren't able to get on to the internet, I felt the same when we lost our connection a few months back, it made me realise how much i rely on it and miss it when it's not there! Lovely, lovely pictures as always, love the dollies and Mr Fox!! xx
ReplyDeleteWow, Mr Fox was a fabulous find. I love him! Good to see you back. M x

Dear Kazzy,
ReplyDeleteWelcome back to blogland! I love ALL your pictures but my most favourite of all is, as always, your fine, detailed drawings. You have magic in your fingertips, I believe.
Stephanie

ReplyDeleteJess xx
Love the 'make do & mend' drawing - simply beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI DO like your foxes! We have quite a few in our neighborhood, so maybe I should start accumulating foxes, do you think so?
ReplyDeleteMy laptop has moments of deadness, too.
I'm glad you saved the photos! Happy day!
So glad to hear you're back up and running - it's such a pain when these things happen. How did we all ever cope before the Internet (chuckle)
ReplyDeleteI love your thrifty finds - what a good eye for a bargain you have - i'm always rubbish at these things - far too impatient I think.
Enjoy your catching up
Nina xxxx

Glad you're back up and running my lovely! Always a pain when it happens. It's always amazing how stranded you feel when you lose the use of the internet for a bit. We are all so used to it just being there! As usual, love all your thrifty finds. I found a bargain last week in one of my local thrifty shops. Some pink china, and the lovely ladies dropped it off at my house as I was doing the school walk and couldn't lug it all back up the hill! How sweet of them! I was so happy! It has been slim pickings of late so a haul like that was just the thing I needed to pep me up again! he he!
ReplyDeleteHave a super rest of a day. Rubbish weather here, as usual a bit of sun just before the boys came out of school then it hailed and rained, with a good dollop of blustery wind all the way home! We were all cold and wet when we got home! Hot cuppa time!
Big hugs

Lovely cosy pretty photos Kazzy - I love the one of SweetPea. Welcome back! Pesky computers, mine is one it's last legs too x
ReplyDeleteI was beginning to wonder if you were poorly so I'm was glad to hear that you're ok. How annoying when these computers play up. I'm so glad you didn't lose any of your precious photos. This happened to us once so hubby bought something that automatically backs everything up onto a hard drive but if I'm honest I wouldn't know where to start. I'm glad you've had more time to draw though. Your 'make do and mend' picture is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI have missed you Kazzy! glad you are back. I love the dollies and that gorgeous little 2 cottages ornament.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely week xx
Glad you are back! It is a very strange cut-off kind of feeling being without the internet. I am ashamed to admit I feel quite panicky if I can't get on each day. I love the little peg dolls. Lily.xxx
ReplyDeleteWhew! It's always tense when something goes wrong with the computer! Love your thrift store finds and your drawing is fantastic!! :D
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness...... five days?? I can't cope if its off for one day :0) Good to have you back lovely xx
ReplyDeleteI did think you were very quiet. Hope the computer is working properly now, it must have been so quiet without it. I took a complete break for a day recently and found it quite hard not to turn it on and catch up with everyone. Love your finds.

The same has happened to me with parcels before. Now worries, I know how funny the post can be.I am still sending something your way, just haven't found anything good yet!
